External services
This free package does not connect to external services for licensing, analytics, or updates beyond the normal WordPress.org update API.
Generated sample data remains local to your site.
Development
Human-readable source for plugin-owned JavaScript is included in this package under assets/ (for example dsog-notice-dismiss.js).

Installation
- Upload the
douple-sample-order-generatorfolder to/wp-content/plugins/, or install from Plugins Add New. - Activate the plugin through the Plugins screen in WordPress (WooCommerce must be active).
- Go to Sample Orders in the admin sidebar.
- Use Generate Orders and/or Generate Products.

Will it delete or modify real customer orders?

No. The plugin only creates new sample orders and products. It does not edit, refund, or delete existing customer data.

Do I need WooCommerce?

Yes. This plugin generates WooCommerce orders and products, so WooCommerce must be installed and active.

Are any features locked behind a licence?

No. Everything included in this wordpress.org package works without payment or activation.

How do I tell sample data apart from real data?

Generated orders and products are marked with plugin meta (
_dsog_sample_order/_dsog_sample_product) so you can identify them later. Product names and order notes also indicate they were created as sample data. -
What if I have no products yet?

Use Sample Orders Generate Products to create a small set of simple products first, then generate orders against that catalog.

Does this plugin slow down my storefront?

No. The free tools only run in
wp-adminwhen you explicitly generate sample data. They do not add frontend scripts to your shop. -
Does this plugin send data to third parties?

No. Sample order and product data stays in your WordPress database. This free package does not contact external services and does not include licensing or updater SDKs.

What happens if I deactivate or uninstall the plugin?

Deactivating keeps generated sample orders/products in WooCommerce (they are store content). Uninstall removes plugin settings and operational options; generated orders/products are intentionally preserved so you do not lose test data by surprise.
