Unlike the free tier of most\nform plugins, it does not lock common fields (Phone, Date, Time, Number) behind\na paid upgrade, and it does not cap forms, fields, or entries.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Features<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Drag-and-drop-style form builder in wp-admin<\/li>\n<li>13 field types out of the box, including Phone, Date, and Time \u2014 free<\/li>\n<li>Entries stored in the database, viewable and exportable to CSV<\/li>\n<li>Email notifications to the site admin, with optional confirmation email to the submitter<\/li>\n<li>Honeypot spam trap + submission rate limiting, no configuration required<\/li>\n<li>Optional Google reCAPTCHA v2 integration<\/li>\n<li>Shortcode (<code>[petal_form id=\"1\"]<\/code>) and a native Gutenberg block<\/li>\n<li>File uploads with an extension allow-list<\/li>\n<li>Clean uninstall option \u2014 leaves no orphaned database tables unless you opt in<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>What this is not<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Petal Forms does not include payment processing (Stripe\/PayPal), third-party CRM\nintegrations (Salesforce, HubSpot), or multi-site license management. If you need\nthose, a mature paid plugin will serve you better. Petal Forms is built for people\nwho just want a solid, unrestricted form builder.<\/p>\n\n<h3>External services<\/h3>\n\n<p>This plugin optionally integrates with Google reCAPTCHA to help block spam submissions. It only connects to Google's servers if you enter a Site Key and Secret Key under Petal Forms \u2192 Settings; with no keys entered, no data is ever sent to Google.<\/p>\n\n<p>When enabled, on every form submission the visitor's reCAPTCHA response token and IP address are sent to Google's siteverify API to confirm the submission is human.
