In the interest of making as much of a website’s content editable by site owners as possible, this plugin fills a big need, namely that of Global variables that can be inserted anywhere but edited just once.

Hi, great little plugin. You do need to update it to get it to work as documented in the support forum: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/just-wp-variables/
But it saved me at least half a day, so thank you!

Thanks for plugin, it works good however it seems doesn’t work in Contact Form 7 emails. I get text [shortcode-variables slug=”contacts”] in email body. Could you advise how to fix it?
